I figured I'd post here another thread in parallel to campaign tracking. Here you can also post any questions, ideas etc.
For now, I have noticed the map text is too small. So I will remake the map with bigger texts. Hopefully it will be up tomorrow and day after.
First turn was without combat, as I suspected. next turn... Who knows...
I also repost here few bits of data from the two other posts, so they are easier to track. These are the ones you will have use for first:
Ship requisition:
Ship requisition will be changed a bit: In the campaign rules reinforcements are allowed on 2+ on D6. In this campaing there are modifiers to the roll based on the point cost of the ship:
Any ship/squadron with 200+ pts is -1 (3+ on D6)
Any ship/squadron with 300+ pts is -2 (4+ on D6)
Any ship/squadron with 350+ pts is -3 (5+ on D6)
Any ship/squadron with 500+ pts is -4 (6+ on D6)
Now, be warned, I may change the limits a bit, so this is not set in stone. I'm worried about pretty much everything except battleships falling to two first. But for now, we go with these.
Other appeal options are also avallable (as in the normal campaign rules of BFG). You can also appeal to change your staging area, so new ships will arrive there. This appeal works on 2+ (if you wish to use this, indicate where to set it. (so "use appeal to change system X as staging area")
Remember, that if you appeal for ships, you must fill the demand for them: You can't apply for new battleships without the required amount of cruisers for example. If you lose the required ships, you can still keep any "special" ones you have, but can't appeal for new ones before filling in the demands.
For example, Imperial player has 5 cruisers and 1 battleship. He can't apply for another battleship, because you require 3 cruisers for each battleship, so he would need 6 cruisers. If he appeals for a cruiser first, he can then appeal for a battleship after he has got the cruiser. If said player lost 3 of his 5 cruisers, he would only have 2 left, which is not enough for battleship. However, he can keep his battleship as normal, and use it, but he can't appeal for a second one (or anything else that has "cruisers" as demand like grandcruisers or heavy cruisers), or appeal for a replacement if it is eventually destroyed, before getting more cruisers.
Also, ships don't need to move together in groups required to field them, so you can have lonely battleship, and the cruisers can be in another system. Requirements only count when appealing for new ships, and then the total of the fleet is used.
Escort squardons may be reinforced with repair points, but there is a risk of LD loss. If new escorts are added to squad, then I will roll D6.
+1 escort will keep the current ld on 3+, 1-2 will cause -1 ld.
+2 escorts will keep the current ld on 4+
+3 escorts will keep the current ld on 5+
+4 escorts will keep the current ld on 6+, and on roll 1 the squadron loses 2 ld
+5 escorts automatically lose one LD) and roll 3+ or lose another.
This method replaces escort LD losses based on losing more then half of ships. You can reinforce escorts over their start strength up to 6 (max squadron size). This is balanced with the potential LD lose. Ship LD does not have lower limit in this campaign.
