I am new to BFG but I want to play tau but my store has no BFG stuff (the only reason I have the rule book is because it's online). Does anyone know where I might find the Tau Fleet List online? If so could you give me the link?

If so could you give me the link? Hi. I couldn't find it I'm afraid... You can find the ship models on the Games Workshop Mail Order site, and the newer ship models on the Forgeworld site. Hope that helps? Regards, Yurrath

Thanks. I might not have been clear. I know where I can get the models but not the rules. If I or anyone else can find the rules I'll just get Imp Navy.

What is the relavnce of that last post? If you mean about getting the rule book online then where I got it from is NOT Illegal because it is a web site called specialist games (I think it is also known as fanatic?). If you mean my asking if there was any where with the rules for the tau fleet online then I'm sorry.

If there were official rules for the tau that would be true, they are no longer illegal to hand out. All the rules are now publicly avaiable on the website www.specialist-games.com so it wouldn't be illegal. Ont he other hand other than one article in the old BFG magazine I don't think I have seen the Tau fleet rules since. 0.0; All the rules for all the fleets should be on the site. Give me a chance to do some digging ne?

Thanks. I found the trial version rules on their forum yesterday. Now I need to know the difference between those and the offical rules.

I checked, as it stands there are no offical Tau rules. The trial rules are the only ones out there right now. Untill they decide to keep them or not I guess that's all there is to go on.

I was reffering to people posting the rules for you here (which I would have done willingly if I hadn't thought it was against the rules). But then again, i must have been wrong.

All I wanted was a link to the rules not the rules themselves. You weren't wrong. sorry about bitting your head off so to speak.

Well... first of all welcome to the game. Second, the book you doenloaded, the basic rule book (affectionaltely known as the Blue book) is only the first book. The Second is called BFG Armada and is for sale now. Plans for making it free are not known to me, but it has all the official rules for a Tau fleet as well as some other kick but versions of other fleets.
Good luck and enjoy.

No problem. The info only went up a short time ago right after Specialist Games revamped thier website. You will need Adobe reader to access the files but it's all there now including up to date lists for the newer fleets.
