0-1 Harlequin Troupe Ship: 250pts
SPECIAL RULES:
Allegence: Any Eldar fleet (Corsairs, Craftworld or Dark Eldar) may include a Harlequin Troupe Ship. Your Admiral may not ride on the Troupe Ship. Note that the Troupe Ship follows all rules for Eldar Corsair ships (eg: the fleet list in the BFG rulebook) unless stated otherwise.
Leadership: The Troupe Ship is always Leadership 10.
Flight Engine: The Troupe Ship uses a complex drive system that allows the craft to accelerate away in any direction, complimenting the Solar Sail systems. As such, the ship's speed is always 30cm, regardless of which facing the Sunward Edge is relative to the ship.
Domino Field: This advanced Holofield system weaves a complex web of illusionary images and chaotic data-patterns around the ship, making it almost impossible to target. The Domino Field count as a Holofield. In addition, it increases the ship's Armour to 6+. This improved Armour Save has no effect against Lances, Bombers or Torpedoes (if they can find the ship, they hit it normally).
Finally, Necron armaments do not ignore the Domino Field.
Mutagenic Batteries: Armed with a complex psycho-virulent ammunition, the batteries of the Troupe Ship can twist and warp a target's hull with frightening force, causing bulkheads to rupture and blast doors to crumble as the weapon's toxins burn through the vessel.
Mutagenic Batteries count as normal Batteries, save that they inflict Critical Hits on a 4+.
Harlequin Crew: Because of the highly skilled nature of the Crew, the Troupe Ship doubles its boarding value (eg: add up the modifiers, double it, then add D6). If the Troupe Ship makes a Teleport Attack, then it inflicts a Critical Hit, rather than causing a Hit and Run attack.
Harlequin Critical Hit Table:
If the Troupe Ship suffers a Critical Hit, use the Eldar Critical Hit table. Obviously, any rule that affects the Holofield affects the Domino Field instead.
The "Mast Lines Severed" result is changed to the following:
Flight Engines offline: The ship's speed is changed to 15/20/30, and it behaves like a normal Eldar Corsair ship until the damage is repaired.
The "Mainsail Shredded" result is changed to the following:
Propulsion Systems offline: The ship's speed is changed to 15/20/30, and it behaves like a normal Eldar Corsair ship until the damage is repaired. In addition, the ship cannot move in the Ordnance Phase.
