Hey i think I can actually get those for you. They actually move the same way Ork Roks do. In fact the article int he annual used the same text, they even forgot to edit it once form Rock to warsphere.
I'll look it up in the morning and post it.

Okay, I think I have them more or less. Remebering why I had a hard time understanding them. The writting for this piece wasn't that clear.
Right, it starts off moving in a given direction and travels full distance in that direction. It doesn't change direction as other ships do though. To do that it has to attempt an all ahead full move, Orks get this automaticly and I believe the Kroot do too.
First it moves the full move in the original direction. Then you roll the dice for the AAF move and move that much in the direction you want to go. If the move is not 10cm the ship continues in the previous direction, if it's more, they manage to change direction and now move in the new direction.
Gravity wells of planets allow you to take a free 45 degree turn just like all other ships. You can't use burn retros or come to new heading special orders because quite simply the sphere is too ungainly.
I believe that is it.

That sounds awful! I'd hate to play with those, sounds like they'd all just float off the board!

They're listed as a defence but when landed on a planet they add 3 assualt points per turn but nothing for being within 30cm.

Yes I can see them acting far better as planetary defense, although it's something I never envisaged the Kroot having! Do the Kroot get any bonuses against boarding actions being combat 'speciaists'?
